“2021 Smart Machinery and Government Subsidy Program: Building a Multi-platform of Data Collection and the Practical Case of AI Value-added Smart Manufacturing Seminar”—Industry-university Cooperation Will Jointly Move towards a New Opportunity for Smart

In recent years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a trend among various industries and plays a key role in industrial transformation. At present, under the leadership of the government's five major innovation industries and innovation policies, the manufacturing industry is actively assisting itself, through the industry-university cooperation, to upgrade from precision machinery to smart machinery. The smart machinery will help the digitization of various data in the industry and help the small- and medium-sized enterprises hit a record high.

Taiwan Tech GLORIA and the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry jointly organized the “2021 Smart Machinery and Government Subsidy Program: Building a Multi-platform of Data Collection and the Practical Case of AI Value-added Smart Manufacturing Seminar” on March 19th. Through the practical case sharing to deepen the exchange of opinions between industry and academia, the common progress towards a new milestone in industrial intelligent technology will be promoted.

In the conference, Prof. Chao-Lung, Yang, the Director of the Enterprise Service Center of the Office of Industry-Academia Collaboration of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, shared the skills of establishing data in the industry. The skills will assist companies to understand how to use better methods and tools to establish effective intelligent data. Pro. Yang also shared the benefits of industrial big data in smart manufacturing which provides the future direction of the transform of intelligent machinery in the traditional manufacturing industry to enhance the overall competitiveness of the manufacturing industry.
