The world is facing an aging population due to higher life expectancy and lower fertility rate. In 2020, Taiwan's precision health market is estimated to be NTD 8.75 billion. The value is expected to reach NTD 14.2 billion by 2025 with a CAGR of 10.2%. Taiwan Precision Health is part of the 6 Core Strategic Industries. The Global Research & Industry Alliance (GLORIA) under MOST features over 30 academic-industry projects in precision medicine and bio medicine covering biological detection, smart medical devices, remote health, and more. Major technology companies are more than welcome to select which technologies/services in the projects to develop in Taiwan's precision health industry and health supply chain.
